| Over
the centuries many people have had a hand
in creating the designed landscape we now
know as Taymouth. Much of it dates back
to the Seventeen Century, while other parts
were laid out for Queen Victoria during
one of her visits. There are three key features
to the landscape; trees, water and mountains.

In
the summer months the grounds are open to
the public . There are many designed walks
throughout the grounds such as the Bearceau,
Surprise, North and South Terraces and dotted
amidst the greenery you will find follies
such as Maxwell's Temple.
